What determines my child's playing age?
In Little League, your child's playing age is determined by whatever the player's age is as of August 31st of the current season year.
In Diamond Youth Baseball divisions, your child's playing age is determined by whatever the player's age is as of April 30th of the current season year.
Fall will always be a year ahead because it is a development league for the upcoming Spring Season.
What kind of equipment does my player need?
Equipment players need to have: Glove and Batting Helmet. Bat is Optional
What type of bat can be used in AP Baseball?
Type of Bats are based on age of child but they must be:
From age 3 to 12 must be USA Bats Only
From age 13 to 16 the bats can be USA Bats or BBCOR
What color baseball pants does my player need?
Players will need standardized plain WHITE baseball pants for every team in the league.
Can I play my child up in age?
NO, with rare exceptions! However, request will be considered on a case by case basis, and the AP Board of Directors will make the final decisions.
Can I play my child down in age?
NO.
When does registration normally start?
Registration typically begins August 1st for Fall Season and December 1st for Spring/Summer Season.
How does the "Waiting List" work?
Once a particular age division reaches maximum capacity, a waiting list is started. In the event a player that is already registered drops out, or if we are able to increase the capacity of the age division, players on the waiting list will be contacted (via email) and offered a position or "activated" in that division. At that time, registration fees must be paid immediately. Fees not paid within 72 hours of activation can result in the registration being cancelled. If the player is not activated from the waiting list, no registration fees are paid
Where do I register if I want to Volunteer?
All Volunteers register on apbaseball.com just like players. This includes Head/Assistant Coaches, Team Mom, and Umpire.

Does the league take special requests?
There will be no special requests other than Medical/IEP. Please send an email to [email protected] for Medical/IEP requests.
When is the last date I can request a refund?
Refunds for current year will not be refunded after the last day of regular registration. Eligible refunds will be issued MINUS a 10.00 cancellation fee.
Why are my child's baseball games not being scored in Game Changer?
The responsibility for scoring games typically falls to the coaches. If you notice that a game is not scored in Game Changer, please reach out to your head coach for clarification. They can provide information on scoring procedures and ensure that future games are recorded properly.
